When’s Our Turn?
I read a really interesting blog post today. And though it’s not funny… I think it’s awfully appropriate.
The basic idea is this: whether you support Obama or not, there’s no denying that he inspired a huge amount of passion and involvement from a huge amount of people. And the blog post in question asks when we’re going to get a leader who does that for theatre? When is the theatre world going to have someone who speaks to us and gets us riled up around changing the theatre world for the better?
I just think that’s kind of a cool thought.
