This photo, courtesy of our very sneaky stage manager, Mr. Jason Comerford, gives a little more context than I generally like to give to these out of context quotes… but come on… how can I help myself?  So here we go, with guest out of context quotes from Warehouse Theatre Artistic Director Paul Savas:

"Dude… where’s your other arm?"

or perhaps the better quote was "Why don’t you just keep your arm between her legs." 

It’s up to you. 

Anyway, if you want to know what that big blur in the middle of the stage (and the subsequent gigantic bruise on my elbow) is all about?  I’m pretty sure our sneaky photographer will tell you exactly what I’m telling you… you’ll have to come see the show!

Okay… this has nothing to do with anything other than the fact that we also love YouTube. You see, preceding the release of their latest album, those fun-loving fellows released a video for the song Pork and Beans on YouTube… and what makes this a crazy meta-video with all kinds of pop culture layers is that it features YouTube celebrities such as the Diet Coke/Mento fountains, Charlie the Unicorn, Blend-Tec Blenders, the Lay Off Brittney kid, and our own Miss Teen South Carolina (I believe that US Americans… uh…). It’s pretty amusing.

So… what do you think? The Distracted Globe should make it into their next YouTube homage, eh? Time to start emailing Weezer now!
