Okay, I know.  I’ve been back in town since Sunday night.  Where the hell have I been?  Where are the witty blog posts you all rely on so much?  Where is the incisive political commentary that helps us through our long, joylous workdays?  Where is the raw comic genius that trips across the blog pages every day?

Well… I’m pretty sure no one was actually thinking any of that.  But I’m going to post anyway.

First of all… things you should know about I Love You Because

• It plays April 4, 5, 6, 10 & 11 at The Warehouse Theatre
• It’s a musical comedy… and it’s actually funny
• It premiered in 2006
• It’s based ever-so-loosely on Pride and Prejudice… pretty much the fact that the names are similar, and there’s love in it
• You will meet the King of Febreeze Land
• You will find out why life is like a pickle
• You will hear about lesser known My Little Pony products

Second of all… things you should know about a cruise ship:

• Drinks with umbrellas = good
• Karaoke makes for instant celebrity
• Do not make eye contact with the woman who insists on chatting about her bathing suit wedgie in the hot tub
• They actually make SPF 70 now… but you know what?  If that’s your poison, then just stay home
• I’m pretty sure that I now know what prom photographers do the other 11 months of the year
• Don’t steal the towels… I’m convinced they come to life if they’re removed from the ship… and then we’d have a terrycloth rebellion on our hands!
