Fantastick!
I know I’ve been spending a lot of time lately gushing about other theatre going on in Greenville, and I’m okay with that. Last night Anne and I went to see The Fantasticks at Centre Stage. What a great show! Great voices, energy, performances, set… the whole package! Great fun to watch Globe associate artists Rick and Andy (you’re gonna LOVE the death scene)! Really, it was great fun to watch them all. You’ve got one more weekend to catch the show - it’s playing next week, Wednesday through Saturday at 8:00. So go! You know you want to!
Oh, and in our ongoing online love letter to Stephen Colbert… apparently he has to pay $2500 to get on the South Carolina ballot… unless he gets 3,000 registered SC voters to sign a petition to get him on the ballot. You can find the petition here. The website may look kinda low budget, but I navigated to it from the Comedy Central indecision blog, so it seems to be legit. Print out one of your very own, collect signatures (remember, they have to be registered SC voters), and send it back in to the address listed on the website.
