Dictionary Day
You’re not going to believe this, but, according to The Lexicographer’s Rules, today is actually Dictionary Day. I’m not kidding. How great is that?!?! A whole day dedicated to the celebration of language! Apparently today is Noah Webster’s 249th birthday. And you know nobody can party like a lexicographer! So go ahead, look up a word today! Peruse Dictionary.com. Correct someone’s grammar (trust me… people really love this!).
Okay… this is actually a pretty lame holiday. But I think we’re all aware that those of us in The Distracted Globes are great big nerds… so I think we should just go ahead and celebrate anyway! This could get out of hand!
