This week is banned books week. And while I absolutely will not get preachy or pushy here, I will give you a couple of links in case you want to find out more about it. Because there are great books out there! And you should read them, or not. But most importantly, I think it should be your decision whether or not you read them!
American Booksellers for Freedom of Expression (ABFFE) (they have a great list of banned and challenged books, along with the arguments against them)
American Booksellers Association (their blog is currently featuring the book tour of ABFFE’s president Chris Finan, promoting his book From the Palmer Raids to the Patriot Act: A History of the Fight for Free Speech… and you should read this blog anyway, because Dan’s a fun blogger!)
