The Turn of the Screw

Yesterday, I went to see the matinee of The Warehouse Theatre’s The Turn of the Screw starring Brock Koonce and Debra Capps.  And let me just tell you… this is one funky, awesome piece of theatre!  Great performances, great story… it is SOOOOO spooky!  And I have to say how excited I was to see people actually jumping in their seats!  One woman even yelped!  That’s what I’m talking about!  That’s what live theatre is supposed to do!  Movies don’t corner the market on spine-tingling creepy-crawlies.  This show will unnerve you and excite you.  Make sure to go see it!  It runs for the next two weekends… and it is just what you need to get in the October spirit… and the general "I like to go see good theatre" spirit!

And, of course, if you come next weekend, you can stay afterwards to play with us!  Oct. 5, 6, 12 & 13 @ 10:30.  Isn’t that convenient?

  1. Thank you for the post about the show. It’s a lot of fun. Especially when people jump…

  2. You are so kind to write about the show! It is fun that people are spooked! Forget movies, how much scarier is it to get spooked in the same room as the characters!??!
